Welcome to our Vertically Integrated Projects for Research initiative! This new initiative, coordinated by the Office of Instruction, has been designed with student success in mind.

VIPR Teams connect undergraduate students with faculty members and graduate students to explore research projects at UGA and become part of the next world-changing research project in a number of exciting and impactful areas of study.

Through this innovative teamwork, this program provides three main benefits: undergraduate students are more prepared for the future, faculty research is advanced across the university, and faculty and graduate students gain increased leadership and mentorship experiences while undergraduate students develop as professionals.

Note: All students participating in the VIPR program will be expected to participate in a team presentation at the annual CURO Symposium.

Your interest in exploring and joining research projects at the University of Georgia help this program grow and evolve, providing engaging experiences for students for years to come.
