What does “Vertically Integrated” mean?−+
Vertically integrated best describes the composition of each research team, which spans several levels of experience and education, from undergraduate students to faculty members with multiple publications.
How many people are on a VIPR Team?−+
About 10-20 counting undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty mentors.
How do I propose a team?−+
Proposals may be made here and will be reviewed by the VIPR leadership team. For the upcoming spring 2025 semester, the Office of Instruction is able to support X new teams.
How do I recruit students to join my team?−+
Once a team is approved, it will be featured on this site here (link to About: Projects) and will appear in search results on this site and in CAPA. The Office of Instruction is also happy to provide support for promoting your team.
How do I get the word out about my Team’s work?−+
The Office of Instruction is happy to highlight your success and progress in your Team. News stories may appear on this site and on the Office of Instruction’s site, and our communications team will work with the Office of Research and other communications units around UGA to best promote your work.
