The University of Georgia’s esteemed faculty and graduate researchers are the heart of our Vertically Integrated Projects for Research initiative.

The VIP structure is designed to advance faculty scholarship and research as well as graduate student work while emphasizing undergraduate learning. Faculty are encouraged to propose projects around their own scholarly interests, bringing leadership, direction, and enthusiasm to their team. Graduate students are encouraged to join so they may continue pursuing their research studies while developing skills as mentors for undergraduate students.

Together, students and faculty work together to innovate and discover solutions for the world’s most challenging unsolved problems.
